Rebecca McIntyre – Meet the Team

What does your role at Silk Family Law involve?

My primary role is to assist the solicitors in the team with work as and when required. This includes drafting correspondence, drafting case documents, attending client appointments and necessary case administration. I currently work closely with Matthew Miles assisting him on a day-to-day basis.

What did you do before you joined the team?

Before I joined Silk Family Law, I worked as a Legal Secretary in the Family Department at Clark Willis Solicitors in Darlington.  

What is your favourite part of the job?

I like that no two days are the same and that every day I am set new challenges.  

What do you most like about working at Silk Family Law?

The team throughout the firm are very friendly and supportive.

What else would you like to be doing if you weren’t doing this role?

If I didn’t work in Family Law, I would set up a dog grooming business, so that I could be surrounded by dogs all day!

What is your perfect day away from the office?

A hike in the Lake District – hopefully in the sunshine.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

I would travel the world with my friends.

Who would you most like to have a drink with and why?

Adele because she has a great sense of humour and I love her music.
