We are delighted to support the charity Daisy Chain as part of our corporate social responsibility at Silk Family Law and look forward every year to their annual ball.

This year themed on Travel, each guest had a boarding pass with their names on it, and the event itself took place at Teeside International Airport, so it really did feel like we were going on holiday.

It was a brilliant evening of entertainment, food and a great DJ set.

A representative from the charity stated, “We are delighted to extend our genuine gratitude for your presence at our 21st Annual Getaway Ball. 🎉 Your participation and support made this event truly memorable, and we are thrilled to share that together, we raised an incredible £91,500. Every penny will go towards the support and empowerment of the autistic and neurodivergent community across the North East and Yorkshire. We are already planning another summer ball for 2025, which promises to be an even more exciting event. It would be incredible if you could join us again as a guest, but we also have some sponsorship opportunities that are available if you’d like to contribute to the evening’s success. 🍾 Please reach out to events@daisychainproject.co.uk to get involved!”.

Daisy Chain was established as a community initiative in 2003 as the dream of its founder, Lesley Hanson, whose son Jacob was diagnosed as autistic at an early age.  They support and empower autistic and neurodivergent individuals through the provision of holistic person-centred services, whilst promoting training, wellbeing, inclusion and acceptance regionally and nationwide.

We have been proud to support their fundraising activities for the last 2yrs, including a donation of £500 earlier this year when some of the farm was damaged as a result of bad weather.
