Silk Family Law was delighted to be the headline sponsor of the 2018 Women in Business Summit on November 8 at Leeds United.

 

Margaret Simpson, one of the firm’s founding partners, was praised for her keynote speech outlining her business journey,  which was described by several delegates as “inspirational”.

 

Associate Harriet Reid joined an expert panel answering questions from delegates.

 

The theme of this year’s summit was game changing: an idea, event or procedure that effects a significant shift in the current way of doing things.

 

Other senior businesswoman on the expert panels included Julie Kenny formally of Pyronex the South Yorkshire based electrical manufacturer, Samantha Sweet of Sweet Squared major distributer of products for the beauty industry and Dr Maggie Semple OBE, from Semple Group an international workwear business.
