National YRes Conference 2021 banner image

Last week saw the annual national conference of YRes, Resolution’s network of family law professionals at the start of their careers.

The YRes one-day virtual conference centred around some of the most important issues facing junior family law professionals.

Silk Family Law solicitor Eleanor Lowes was involved in organising the event.

With an overarching theme of ‘wellbeing’ and an interactive “It’s good to talk” session, other topics at the summit included allyship, supporting clients around domestic abuse, litigation funding, and supporting vulnerable clients. The plenary session was led by Suzanna Eames from the Junior Lawyers Division of The Law Society and CEO of Lawcare, Elizabeth Rimmer.

Resolution is a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.

Among the team at Silk are Resolution accredited lawyers and collaborative law trained family lawyers who can work with families in a way that reduces conflict and its impacts on children during divorce and separation.
